2011 Bentley Continental GTC 80-11 and GTC Speed 80-11 Priced


Anita Lienert, Correspondent Inside Line says: Two tantalizing Bentley limited edition models with hefty price tags. The GTC Speed model also uses the same powertrain tweaked to 600 hp and 553 lb ft of torque. The GTC is equipped with a twin turbo 6.0-liter W12 engine that produces 552 horsepower and 479 pound feet of torque. Drilled alloy sport pedals are standard on both models.

The aluminum dashboard has a bright finish in the GTC and a sportier dark finish for the GTC Speed. Cabin details include Beluga leather with contrast stitching. The two limited-edition models also get a special exterior color dubbed. Midnight, paired with a. Dark Grey Metallic, soft top. Both cars give a nod to Bentley's British heritage with Union Jack brightware badges featured on the front fenders, said Bentley in a statement. The GTC Speed 80-11 gets 20-inch wheels.

The GTC 80-11 features new 20-inch 14-spoke alloy diamond wheels with black center caps with the. B, emblem. Bentley said it is building only 80 examples of each convertible in 2011. The two special models were unveiled here during the 60th Annual Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance. Prices include a $3,000 gas-guzzler tax and a $2,595 destination charge.
