2011 Wiesmann Spyder Concept
Wiesmann, a small German manufacturer who began their careers making hardtops for convertible, the new Spyder Concept revealed at Geneva Motor Show. The new concept is a two-seater, extremely purist, convertible sports car that will do it for production, but not before 2012. We're not sure yet if the production version will also be offered, without doors and windshield. The company has described as the most extreme Spyder Wiesmann ever built.

The new concept Spyder weighs just 1000 kg and accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in 4 seconds, while top speed climbs to 180 mph. The project Wiesmann Spyder study is based on the first projects of the Wiesmann brothers', but also incorporates their many years of experience in building sports cars. It demonstrates the receptiveness of the sports car manufacturer in the trend, because many fans have approached Wiesmann founders in recent years with the demands of an extremely purist model.
