The Ford GT40 is a high performance racing car that won the 24 Hours of Le Mans from 1966 to 1969. Ford specifically for the vehicle roll-over of Ferrari who dominated Le Mans from 1960 to 1965. The GT part of the name is a Grand Touring, and the 40 designation of the entire height of the car, Le Mans is an important limitation.
